Gillian Keegan was up early delivering and sorting post for her constituents.
Gillian visited the Royal Mail Delivery Office where she was shown how post from across the world is sorted and delivered across the constituency. Gillian then took part in the last leg of a letter’s journey joining Postman Rod on his morning round delivering mail through letterboxes. The Chichester MP also helped Rod collect outgoing mail from the iconic red letterboxes throughout the City.
Gillian said: It was a lovely morning getting to know the postal service and see for myself how they manage such an efficient system. Big thank you to all of the staff there for showing me around, especially Rod who I hope I didn’t slow down too much on his delivery round as I saw him two hours later at Chichester High School.
