Gillian was treated to a sneak preview of the Novium Museum’s newest exhibition ‘The Art of Chichester: 60 Years of Creativity’.
The exhibition, curated by David Elliott, a senior arts manager at the British Council, celebrates the district’s cultural heritage from its world class venues, including Chichester Festival Theatre, Pallant House Gallery, and Chichester Cathedral, to smaller community groups and local creatives.
The exhibition is now open till February next year and forms part of Culture Spark, Chichester District’s season of culture which has events throughout the year. To find out more visit: www.thegreatsussexway.org
Following her tour of the exhibit, Gillian said, “Chichester is a cultural capital, and it’s wonderful to celebrate that throughout Culture Spark. The Art of Chichester is a brilliant example of the rich and diverse cultural offering we have across the district.
