Candice joined Gillian and her team for three days of work experience, as part of her studies at the University of Chichester where she studies Law. Candice joined the team for two days working in Westminster and one supporting Gillian in the constituency.
"It was such a fantastic experience to meet, and work with, Gillian and her team. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. I was involved in meetings and constituency visits, which I found incredibly interesting. Being able to visit Westminster, watch the PMQ’s and be involved in the process of formulating policy and the passage of law was a once in a lifetime experience that I would highly recommend to anyone with an interest in politics or the legal system. Gillian is one of the most personable and warm people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and I will always value everything I have learnt on this work experience placement. "
