Local businesses are being invited to join Chichester District Council’s live webinar at 2pm on Friday 19 February to find out more about the range of financial support that’s available to them.
The webinar is designed to support district businesses that have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic. During the session, officers from the council’s Revenues and Benefits and Economic Development teams will run through the available Government grants and will explain which businesses are eligible for each scheme and how they can apply. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions.
“The pandemic has had a huge impact on businesses in our district and we are keen to support them as much as we possibly can,” says Councillor Tony Dignum, Cabinet Member for Growth, Place and Regeneration at Chichester District Council. “We appreciate that there are a number of Government grants available and knowing which to apply for can be confusing for businesses. Our hope is that this webinar will help make it easier for them to understand how they can claim the support that they are entitled to, and I would urge all businesses in the district to sign up at www.chichester.gov.uk/businesswebinar”
“In the webinar, our team will cover all of the different grant options available, including support for those that have had to close during the current lockdown, as well as for those that have been able to stay open but have still been negatively impacted by the pandemic. A range of other grant schemes are still open for businesses that have been affected by the national restrictions in November 2020 and last year’s tier restrictions. Information on all of these grants, including eligibility details and how to apply, can be found at www.chichester.gov.uk/covidbusinesssupport.
“To take part in the webinar, you will need to book your place at www.chichester.gov.uk/businesswebinar so that our team can send you the joining details. They look forward to seeing you there.”
The webinar takes place on Friday 19 February 2021 between 2pm and 3pm, and businesses can find out more and book their place at www.chichester.gov.uk/businesswebinar
