Gillian Chairs APPG on Women and Work

Gillian Chaired the meeting of the APPG on Women and Work, to discuss gig work and disruptive economies.

The APPG heard from Michelle Daley, who works on disability and equality issues globally, she raised the issues around the cuts and changes to Access2Work.

As well as Abie Hunt, a research fellow at the Overseas Development Institute, who said, 'it is very important to listen to people with disabilities to see what they want from the gig economy.' She also spoke on how big businesses can help by looking at their own processes and procurement.
